Enlightenment: is a thought, similar to light, which dispel ignorance, that similar to darkness. It has been emerged in Europe due to certain conditions; therefore, it acquired special content and significance. Yet, as our contemporary reality suffers from loss of identity, as a result of the absence of vision and intellectual reference, some westernization advocates claim that it is necessary to put in mind the causes of the western culture which one of its important causes is the western enlightenment, claiming that, the western enlightenment has been based on thought and philosophy established by Ibn Rushed , despite the vast difference between the western enlightenment which gives the mind the absolute power over all powers even the power of religion and the enlightenment from the view of Ibn Rushed the magistrate ( Al-kadi ) and the scholar ( Al-faqih) who did not go out the frame of the Islamic enlightenment which combining mind and religion .
As a consequence this research is titled (The Concept of Enlightenment from the View of Ibn Rushed and its connection to the Interpretation law and its contemporary implications)
It is comprised of five chapters:
Chapter One: Illustration of Enlightenment concept from a Western view and an Islamic perspective
Chapter Two: Contemporary Implications to Inspire the Innovative and Reformative experience of Ibn Rushed
Chapter Three and Four were reserved: to talk about the Bases of Enlightenment according to Ibn Rushed
Due to the Importance of the Idea of Interpretation according to Ibn Rushed the Fifth Chapter is reserved for it Then I mentioned the results of the research in the Conclusion.
