Also, most of those who wrote about Islamic philosophy in the East focused on the most famous philosophers, such as Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, and Ibn Sina, without mentioning Ibn Miskawayh except a little.
I chose, with the grace of God Almighty, to undertake this research. I collected the scientific material for the research through my reading of the references and sources that dealt with this topic. In order to achieve the research objectives, scientific research methods were followed. I followed the analytical approach: by examining Ibn Miskawayh’s thought on the divine aspect, and the comparative approach: by comparing Ibn Miskawayh’s thought and similar ideas and demonstrating influence and impact. The critical approach: This is through exposure to the ideas under study through criticism and commentary.
I divided the research into: an introduction, a preface, four sections, and a conclusion: As for the introduction: I explained the reasons for choosing the research. As for the introduction: Ibn Miskawayh’s personality, and as for the first section: it was entitled Ibn Miskawayh’s evidence for the existence of God Almighty. The second section was entitled: The characteristics of the first mover according to Ibn Miskawayh. The third section was entitled: The relationship of attributes to the self-according to Ibn Miskawayh. The fourth section was titled God’s relationship with the world according to Ibn Miskawayh. Then I concluded the research with a conclusion that includes the research results. Then I appended the research with a list of references, then a detailed index of the research topic
