This study addresses the issue of the displacement of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) in the digital age, focusing on the linguistic and cultural transformations imposed by globalization and the dominance of foreign languages, particularly English, along with the noticeable weakness of Arabic digital content. The study adopts a critical analytical approach to examine the Arabic linguistic reality amid the rapid pace of digitization, highlighting manifestations of linguistic decline in media, academic, and digital platforms. It exposes the shortcomings of official language policies and the fragmentation of institutional efforts to support MSA, in contrast to the growing influence of local dialects and foreign languages in the digital landscape. Furthermore, the study explores the complex relationship between language and identity, emphasizing that MSA is a cornerstone of Arab cultural and civilizational identity. It presents critical readings of contemporary poetic texts and intellectual positions that reflect an awareness of the ongoing crisis facing the Arabic language. The study concludes with practical recommendations advocating for the implementation of effective language policies, the development of Arabic digital content, and the reinforcement of MSA's presence in media and academia to restore its role in contemporary Arab discourse and confront the challenges posed by digital globalization.
