Divorce is one of the most difficult things that a person may encounter without committing a mistake; from committing a forbidden act or transgressing the limits of Allah or injustice or cruelty, or falling into psychological, sensory or material problems, or a pessimistic view of the future or present. Allah Almighty revealed Surat At-Talaq and explained to His servants the rulings related to divorce, and mentioned in it doctrinal sentences appropriate to its rulings and purpose and to address that mistake and those problems. So I wanted to clarify those doctrinal sentences and their suitability to those rulings in this research.
The research came in nine topics in which the doctrinal sentences extracted from Surat At-Talaq were mentioned. The most prominent results of the research were: that the command to be pious is one of the central doctrinal objectives of the Surah, as it highlighted the importance of adhering to piety in the matter of divorce, explaining its consequences, cautioning against violating it, and glorifying the rulings and limits that Allah has legislated related to it. Due to the greatness of the matter of divorce and its impact, and the religious and worldly matters related to it that are related to the lives of spouses, children, relatives and society; the address was directed to the greatest Messenger Muhammad, may the best prayers and most complete peace be upon him.
