This research examines two critical legal and ethical issues: the crime of abuse of influence and the crime of false reporting, from both Islamic jurisprudence and modern Saudi legal perspectives. A notable strength of this study is its inclusion of recent Saudi regulations, which many earlier studies lacked due to being published before these laws were enacted.
The research begins with an introduction on the importance of safeguarding public interests and the dangers of misusing authority or submitting false accusations. It emphasizes that Islamic law aims to promote justice by preventing corruption and protecting individuals from harm.
