One of the most serious offenses that jeopardizes public office integrity and undermines public trust in state institutions is the abuse of professional influence. Public interest is harmed and the values of justice and equality are weakened when a public official uses their position or influence for illicit privileges or personal gain. This crime is given a lot of attention in the Saudi system because laws and rules, like the Anti-Bribery Law and the Anti-Corruption Law, have been created to apprehend offenders and administer suitable punishments to improve the honesty and openness of government institutions. The study's objective is to examine this crime's legal components. The report also clarifies the legal safeguards against influence abuse in Saudi Arabia, such as the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority's function in identifying wrongdoing and prosecuting implicated officials. The report also discusses the difficulties in enforcing the laws pertaining to this crime and offers suggestions for bolstering anti-corruption initiatives and guaranteeing the efficacy of existing regulations. Through this analysis, the study aims to demonstrate how much the government workplace is impacted by the abuse of power, as well as how well legal processes perform to lessen this phenomenon and attain functional justice.
