This research deals with the phenomenon of soliloquy and their manifestations with Abu Shadi, as an independent study stemming from his poetic texts, especially his collection (Al-Shula), and choosing poetic models for him stemming from the spirit of his subject itself, which is: (The soliloquy and the challenge of societal oppression (a reading in the Diwan of Al-Shula by Ahmed Zaki Abu Shadi). Our poet defied oppression, did not stand idly by, but struggled, revolted, and took the path of soliloquy as a tool of his expression, so Al-Shula came as a resounding soliloquy, foretelling his psychological hiddenness and his sensory conscience. The approach followed will be the descriptive approach, which describes the texts as they are, using the help of a literary analysis of them, an analysis that highlights the role of monologues in expressing the poet's visions until they became a source of expression for him. The research plan will be: an introduction, a preface, two chapters, a conclusion, and indexes. The research plan will be: an introduction, and a preface: it includes the terms of the study, and a brief summary of the origins of the monologue and its relationship to literature, then the first topic: it contains the biography and artistic biography of the poet, with shedding light on the motives of his oppression, then the second topic: it includes images of the monologue in his collection, and finally it comes Conclusion and index.
