Abstract

Features of the Islamic tendency in modern poetry between vision and formation
This research aims to study the manifestations of the Islamic tendency in modern poetry, by exploring how Islamic values ​​and religious vision are present in modern poetic texts, as well as embodying the interaction between religion and modernity in contemporary literature, and clarifying the manifestations of the Islamic tendency among modern poets; and confirming the ideological and intellectual dimension in modern texts, which constitute intertextuality - with the Holy Qur’an, the Noble Prophetic Sunnah, and the inspiration of Islamic values ​​in the poetic structure - one of its pillars.
The research deals with a critical analysis of selected poetic models, to reveal the interaction between the spiritual dimension and artistic formation, and how to reformulate Islamic values ​​in modernist methods. The research relies on the descriptive analytical approach, using modern critical approaches to understand the nature of the Islamic tendency in modern poetry, and its impact on the aesthetic and intellectual structure of the contemporary Arabic poem; The aesthetic and formative dimensions of the Islamic tendency are represented in the linguistic and vocal formation and its role in highlighting the Islamic vision, as well as the formation of the poetic image and symbol to express that Islamic tendency; in addition to the rhythm and artistic style in those modern poetic texts.
